The flash contest is very well-organised. The fortnightly time scale is just right, with the first week to get creative to a prompt and the second week to read the other contestants stories, vote, and give feedback. Everybody who takes part has their own flash style, which is great because it shows the diversity and adaptability of flash as a medium. The feedback from peers is genuinely thoughtful and helpful. But most of all, it's just fun to take part!
