Etopia Press is looking to acquire manuscripts in traditional genre fiction, non-traditional or cross-genre fiction, general and literary fiction. Etopia Press offers advances for romance and erotic romance manuscripts over 40k.

When she was eight, Jenn Fitzpatrick’s father refused to buy her another Baby-Sitter’s Club book unless she also picked out a “real book.” She selected a copy of Little Women and from that day on, she’s had her nose buried in one book or another. When she’s not reading or writing, you can find her baking cookies or ticking off the miles as she trains for her third half-marathon. 
 
Jenn lives in Athens, Georgia with her husband, her son, a mutt named Evie B (affectionately known as Duchess Dumbface) and a purple fish, the origins of which remain unclear. Her first book will be published with Etopia Press this fall.

Savvy Authors offers several different methods for pitching your book to acquiring editors and agents:

Blog Pitch Contests
Contest rules and instructions are posted on the Front Page as an article on the date the contest is to be held. Members may leave a contest entry as a comment to this post, and the editor/agent will review all posts and post winners at their discretion.

Winners typically are requested to submit a full manuscript of their entry to the acquiring editor/agent. Yay!

Pitch Appointments
Savvy Authors brings in editors and agents who agree to "listen" to members' pitches in our chat room. Each appointment lasts ten minutes in which the member and the editor/agent are in a private chat room. At the end of the ten minutes, if the acquiring editor or agent is interested in reading your manuscript a request to send a partial or full will be offered immediately.
