Instructor: Todd Stone. Raids. Assaults. Ambushes. Clearing a Room. Clearing a Trench. Knocking out a Bunker. This informational workshop will walk authors through the action steps small units take when executing close combat missions. We'll address fundamental fire and maneuver skills, fire team organization, and discuss step by step how small units close with and destroy their enemies. Combat is chaos, but we'll make some sense of that chaos so you can write more exciting and more accurate military action scenes.This four-week workshop is appropriate for authors at all levels who wish to ensure their description of modern combat is accurate, who wish to be understand small unit military actions, or who are building fictional worlds with warrior or military themes or scenes.
