He judged the Daphne du Maurier (published category) for the Romance Writers of America, Mystery/Suspense Chapter, for three years and has written columns and articles for Dabbling Mum, Writer's Digest, and Writing World. He teaches or has taught for RWA-KOD, Writers College, and WritersUniv.
Over five hundred of his stories and poems have appeared in more than two hundred publications. His collection, SHOT TO DEATH (ISBN 978-0982589908)was released by Mainly Murder Press in Feb, 2010.
