| Writing and Placing Short Stories for Anthologies | |
Instructor: Lisa Kessler. Need to build your writing resume? Anthologies are a great way to build your fiction readership and your writing resume.
During this course you will learn about online resources to find calls for short story submissions, plus learn techniques for crafting a targeted short story for a certain anthology. We'll also work on ways to place stories you may already have saved on your hard drive.

| | INSTRUCTOR: | Lisa Kessler has published multiple short stories in print anthologies and magazines as well as online. Her vampire short story, Immortal Beloved, was a finalist for a Bram Stoker award and has been reprinted in the Dead Souls anthology by Morrigan Books. After meeting Ray Bradbury she took up his challenge to write 52 Short Stories in 52 Weeks and one of the stories grew into her novel, Moonlight, finaled the Kensington/RT Writing with the Stars contest.
Her debut novel, Night Walker, was released from Entangled Publishing in 2011, and her follow-up books, Night Demon and Night Thief will be released in 2012.
Lisa lives in San Diego with her husband and two amazing teens.
