Upcoming Curricula at Savvy University | Savvy Authors is proud to introduce a series of six month to year long courses designed to guide authors of varying skill levels from early book concept through a fully realized and polished novel.
More than just your average workshops, all courses include more interactive curricula with one-on-one assistance from the instructor and peer mentoring as well as more personalized workshop responses. Most Unversity tracks include two monthly group chats with the instructor as well as a quarterly private, hour long chat or phone call with the instructor to go over progress, goals, or whatever you need every quarter... And all with YOUR book in mind!
Each course has a few guiding principles which the instructors consider when planning course syllabi, which include:
- • All students complete each track with a revised book, ready to market.
- • Tracks are divided into discrete courses spanning 2-4 weeks each which continually move the manuscript toward completion. (Mentoring Tracks may vary, please refer to the individual mentoring track for more information.)
- • Students learn best by studying others, so analyses of novels and/or deconstruction of popular movies will be included.
- • On average, a week break for every four week period will be provided so those who’ve fallen behind can catch up.
- • In most programs, tracks are a minimum of 6 months long but no longer than 12 months.
- • All tracks include a bi-monthly group chat, and a quarterly private chat with the instructor.
And that's not all! We're lining up editors and agents eager to read your manuscript and consider it for publication upon completion of the course! View list of SavvyU Sponsors.
