| Dawn McClure, Administrative Assistant and Newsletter Editor
A multi-published author of paranormal romance, Dawn McClure can often be found at her desk plugging away at a WIP or performing her duties as SavvyAuthors Administrative Assistant and Newsletter Editor. Either way, she can rock both jobs in her PJs. Her weekly article, Sh!t My Muse Says, can be found every Monday here at Savvy. She lives in BFE South Dakota with her husband and two PRE-TEEN daughters (had to caps that for emphasis). | Melinda B. Pierce, Membership Director & Moderator Co-Coordinator
Melinda B. Pierce didn’t want to be an author when she grew up. In fact, she wanted to be a Solid Gold dancer, and once the show was taken off the air, she decided being the female counterpart to James Bond would do. Reality set in, as it often does when a child grows up, and after a stint as a Military Police Officer for the United States Army, she transitioned to an Intake Coordinator for a social services office, and finally after obtaining her paralegal degree, settled into being a real estate paralegal at a law firm. While each of these careers were rewarding in their own way, she still felt she was meant to do something more. So, she opened up her laptop and began writing. Now she can’t stop. Melinda is a member of the International Association of Aspiring Authors, St. Petersburg Association of Aspiring Authors, and a volunteer editor for Mezzo Magazine, a short story e-zine. She currently resides in sunny Florida with her family.

| Sharon King, Workshop Moderator
| Jenn, Workshop Moderator
An introvert since childhood, Jenn’s first friend was books. After opening her first “Fear Street” by R.L. Stine, she was hooked on the spooky, paranormal world and decided to try her hand at writing darkly and weird stories, which often featured her friends and enemies as the main characters.
After combining her passion for writing and her love for sports, she spent five years at the local newspaper as a Sports Reporter – where she met her eventual husband during a routine interview. When the newspaper disbanded, she took a different career route and trained to be a dental hygienist, taking a few years off from writing. She was bitten by the writing bug again three years ago and has been busy pounding on the keyboards in the late evenings (after hockey practice) creating the dark world of her paranormal/urban fantasy romances, which she hopes one day will make it to publication. Her brain boosts of creativity most present themselves while she sits in front of the television listening to a NHL or NFL game in the background. Jenn lives in Ontario, Canada with her husband, crazy boxer dog and fat cat. | Donna Shields, Workshop Moderator
Donna's a full time motorcycle repair shop owner by day. She spends her evenings writing romantic suspense. Between her husband and her, they have seven children. | Ally Carter, Workshop Moderator
