Babs Mountjoy has recently signed a three-book contract with Zumaya Publications for her YA series, Color of Fear: Plague, The Color of Fear: Journey, and The Color of Fear: Survivors. The series will release in early 2013. Congratulations, Babs!

Our first congratulations this week goes out to Savvy Authors member Tara Neale. She placed third in Lierotica's annual Halloween contest with Red, White and Blue Halloween. Also, the first in her series, It's Never Too Late, will be released in early December to honor our troops as many come home this Christmas. Congratulations, Tara!

Our first congratulations this week goes out to Savvy Authors member B.J. Scott. As a result of a pitch contest offered by Savvy Authors this past summer, she was offered a contract by Deborah Gilbert of Soul Mate Publishing. Her first book, a medieval historical romance, Highland Legacy, is to be released this week. On Wed Nov 9th, 2011, it will be available at Soul Mate Publishing, on Amazon and Barnes and Noble.

Elaine Cantrell signed two contracts with Astraea Press. The first is for a full length inspirational novel titled The Sentence. The other is for a Christmas short story titled The Table in the Window. Congratulations, Elaine!
