Love is in the air...but I am stuck in Florida, about 560 miles from home. Hubby has not seen me for about three weeks, and his phone calls are getting more...insistent. Does absence make the heart grow fonder?

Anyway, I am planning to return home soon. Mom is feeling better and Dad is happily ensconced in the nearby Veteran's Home. Time I got back to my 'better half'.

We have a good relationship. Now that he has his own Kindle, he has agreed to read my manuscript-in-progress. MY BANISHED HIGHLANDER is nearly finished, and going through the final polish. Another set of eyes-his are a brilliant blue-always helps.

Actually, since he is of Scottish descent AND was a European History major in college, he will scope out my usage of terminology and weaponry to make sure I am writing authentic 1598 Scotland prose.
