Okay, so the story is told. You've gone over revision after revision and you still feel like you haven't got it right. Writing is a lot harder than what some people may think. There is so many elements that you have to add to make your reader think this story is real, to make them think the characters are real. Well are they? To us they're real. We have to use our words to make them real to our every expanding crowd of followers.
I'm still on this journey of exploring the options to make that happen. With each revision that I make, I know I am that much closer to making my dream of putting my story out there for all to read come true!

    Thanks Amanda! I feel exactly the same way. I keep wondering when I will finally decide that it's done, but I think I'll know it when It happens.

    Ohmiword... I am not alone. I am so glad you posted that, um, this. Because I'm right there with you. In that boat. Full of plot holes.
    For a year now I've been circling the final version of one of my manuscripts. I'm on revision #7 now and... I think I finally got the elements right in the plot. Finally there seems to be all the elements I need to make it exude... me, my voice, my sparkle, wit, action, sensuality... E, all of the above.

    Now I just have to overhaul the current 108K monster and transform it in a managable draft 1 of revision 7.
    If I can do all of that in the next month... I will have so earned that mani/pedi I've got scheduled. ;-)
