CLICHE FINDER and AUTOCRITTER

Rate this Entry
If you’ve explored the Savvy site, you already know it has so many great tools and opportunities for writers. Two incredibly helpful tools include the Cliché finder and the Autocritter.

CLICHÉ FINDER

Clichés can turn off prospective agents and editors. Fill your manuscript with too many and it could mean rejection, regardless of how well written your work happens to be. Sometimes it’s hard to edit and critique our own work and be objective, especially when you know a line fits so perfectly and conveys your idea. Savvy is here to help you with that.

Under the Resources menu tab on the main page, scroll down and click on Cliché Finder. You can cut and paste up to 85,000 words of your manuscript for a cliché critique. Let this Savvy tool find those issues for you and help make your editing, revising, critiquing life simpler.

AUTOCRITTER

The second super helpful tool Savvy offers is the Autocritter. Need help finding weak and overused words? Are you being to repetitive in your writing? Cut and paste scenes, sample chapters or your entire manuscript and let Autocritter help you.

You can find this tool under the Resources tab of the main page as well. Click on Autocritter and you’re on your way to a stronger manuscript.

I won¡¯t be able to thank you fully for the articles on your web-site. I know you¡¯d put a lot of time and energy into all of them and hope you know how much I appreciate it. I hope I could do the same for someone else sometime.
My website is about Canon Cameras.

I've tried to open both, but it won't let me. The two links are not highlighted and there is a lock next to them. Am I not doing something right?

I'm not sure why you are having this issue. You went to the resources tab and clicked from there? What type of membership do you have?
