• Special Event: Savvy Authors April Boot Camp

I Don’t Know But I’ve Been Told…It's that time again, so polish those boots and press out your uniform! Savvy Authors Boot Camp is back and better than ever. Do you need a little motivation to finish your WIP? Dying to write something new but keep putting it off for another day? Wait no more.

We'll break you into teams of no more than five authors who write in your genre. Together you will have your own section of the Savvy Authors website to use for brainstorming, inspiration, encouragement, and virtual chocolate. Make sure you post your daily word count and group totals will be calculated at the end of Bootcamp. Members of the winning team will receive a free workshop each!

There will also be pitching sessions available in July (this will be after Revision Hell in June) to those who participate in the Savvy Authors Bootcamp.

To keep your team motivated, we’ll offer writing sprints in the water cooler and operating room of the Savvy Chatroom. Best of all, fifteen-minute writing challenges give your team extra opportunities to win points, so be on the lookout for new challenges being posted randomly!
Boot Camp is all about writing. You write, you report back to your peers on words written, and that's it! For more information about teams, or just a place to ask other Boot Camp participants a question, check out our special May Boot Camp Forum. (Forum coming soon). The team with the most points will win free workshops valued at $25 for each member!

And remember... there's no whining in Boot Camp!

Is there something like this for those of us who need to edit a WIP? It would be great to do that with some like-minded people!

      Hi Cherry,

I believe Dawn is also setting up an edit bootcamp for a little later in the summer. I'll check with her and get back to you
