Savvy FAQ Blog

When writing, many of us enlist the help of trade books, advice from friends who've been there and other educational tools to help us perfect our manuscripts. That's where Savvy comes in. Did you know Savvy Authors offers a Craft Bookstore as well as Craft Worksheets to hep guide us through our writing process? Even if you aren't the type to outline, take notes or follow a format, occasionally we all get stuck and need an extra push. My suggestion? Check out what Savvy has to offer.

CRAFT BOOKSTORE
On the main page, click on the RESOURCES tab, follow the drop-down menu and click on CRAFT BOOKSTORE. This will take you to SAVYY AUTHORS' ESSENTIAL CRAFT BOOKSTORE. Here you will find books on topics that include characterization, plot, setting, POV and many more.

All books listed in our bookstore have been read and reviewed by a member of the Savvy Crew and determined to be an essential book on craft and put on our keeper shelves.

If you have a craft book you'd like to recommend we add to our library, please send an email to support @ savvyauthors dot com, and we'd be happy to review it for inclusion.

CRAFT WORKSHEET
On the main page, click on the RESOURCES tab, follow the drop-down menu and click on CRAFT WORKSHEETS. This will take you to some of the worksheets Savvy has compiled. So far, there are worksheets available on character, plotting and scene with more to come soon.

I'd recommend you take a look at what's there and see if it can't help you to get you deal with that old friend, Writer's Block. Even though there are only a few worksheets available now, more are going to be added in the coming weeks and months. Check back often and see if we have something for you.
