Looking for a Way to Get Started

I wrote journalistically for more than 20 years and am now trying to make the transition to fiction -- specifically romance fiction. There is fascinating reading on this site -- but I'd like to blog a bit about my journey and also hear tips from my fellow writers on how to improve my writing and develop good writing habits.
