the Culloden Field link didn't work
Very nice :-)
We meet again...! I agree with your blog about twitter and the do's and don'ts. Personally, I love the feel-good essence to many of the tweets and they draw me much more than anything else. It's astounding how supportive total strangers can be when a person shares good news. Mimi
Hi Mimi! Twitter can be a great community. I've met wonderful folks from all around the world. :-) Maeve
Hello: Yes, I have met several Asian (or Chinese, take your pick) Water Dragons (Physignathus coccincinus); from babies all the way up to 3' plus adults. They are great Lizards and have always remained one of my favorites. For those who think such things are fairy tales, these are true "Dragons." I also like the Australian Water Dragon (P. leseuri), especially the deep red that some males display ubder the throat and spilling onto the chest region. Have a Great Day!!! The "Creature"
Thanks for taking the time to comment, "Creature". Actually, my daughter's had a Chinese Water Dragon for several years. Kashi is a little over 2' long from the end of his nose to the tip of his tail. He's got quite a bit of personality. More than I could have ever imagined since I've always preferred "furry" pets. But she loves him. *sigh* Thanks for stopping by! Maeve

Comment deleted - blog entry corrected. Geez! What a long day. ;-)
Thanks Sherry! :-)
LOL! I guess "Bend down" could be interpreted in MANY ways! ;-)
Congratulations!!! Good luck with Round 2!
Thanks so much! I appreciate your kind words. :-)
I know exactly what you mean. I just started blogging and I discovered an unexpected shyness about asking people to check out my blog. And if I ask more than once, it feels too much like begging. And if I get no comments, I feel like I'm talking to myself. All very uncomfortable. It would be nice if we could band together, visit and comment on each other's blogs, "like" each other on facebook, follow each other on twitter, and whatever else we can to help each other not feel so alone. Of course there's only so many hours in the day. And I visited RTbookreview and voted. Just doing my part.
Thank you SuzieQ for your vote - but mostly for taking the time to comment on my blog. At least, we know we're not alone. :-)
I've done number six. My daughter can attest to it. "Mom, wasn't that our turn back there?" "Um, er, why yes, it was. I was thinking of . . ." "Your writing again?" *hangs head* "Yes." Janice~
P.S. your daughter sure is a cute.
Aw, I love this post. Yes, if you believe in yourself all things are possible. Janice~
Awesome list Maeve! I especially can relate to #6. I have found that my iPod has a voice recorder and sometimes I have to voice aloud what is happening in my head before I have the chance to write it down, then half of it could be lost.
A writer never knows what's going to "entice" their muse. Who knows? Perhaps your friend is right and the dead people you honor in your stories are watching over you?
I put dead people in my stories. Evidently, this is a good thing. One of my friends thinks of it as a gift, a way of honoring them. m
Thanks Liz! :-)
Great excerpt, Maeve! Good luck! Crossing fingers for ya. : )
Thanks Laura! I'll keep everyone posted and I really appreciate everyone's good wishes and support!
