Connie Cox joined Romance Writers of America in 1999, finalled in the Golden Heart competition and sold her first book eight years later.  That book, Taking Flight, received 4 ½ stars from Romantic Times and was an RT Reviewer’s Choice finalist for 2008 Best Small Press Romance.

Connie teaches fiction writing at her local community college, critiques with a brilliant group of published writers, is an active member in her local RWA chapter and loves all aspects of the writing world.

New forms of publishing and different opportunities arise daily for writers.  So that her students can make informed decisions about their writing careers, Connie continues to study all forms of publishing to determine their merits and drawbacks in this fast-changing and evolving industry.
