Raised in San Bernardino, CA, I live in the high desert of Southern California with my husband of twenty years and three teenagers. (pray for me) I own and operate Griffith Playhouse, a children’s theater program. Basically, I play dress-up and make-believe for money. As a neurodivergent person who struggles with ADHD and anxiety, theater and writing have always been an easy way for me to express myself and deal with the anxieties of life.

I am an active SCBWI member and co-assistant Regional Advisor for the SoCal chapter. My experience with publishing included two volumes of short plays called 10 MINUTE PLAYS FOR KIDS OF ALL AGES and a fairy tale series called ROSE MAIDELAIDEN. I have also published short stories and poetry online. I write in many genres, including Young Adult, Picture Book, short stories, plays, and poetry.
